Jean Marie Scott ’81M, associate vice chancellor for colleges and university housing services at University of California Santa Cruz, is acting vice chancellor of student affairs.

Gregory S. Rittle ’82, Highlands Ranch, Colo., is director of business information solutions for NELNET.

Derek R. Layser ’83 (left), was named Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer” for plaintiffs’ personal injury-medical malpractice by the publishers of Law & Politics and Philadelphia Magazine.

Tamara L. Gillis ’84-’88M, Elizabethtown, recently completed two book projects for Jossey-Bass on communication management and leadership; had two research papers accepted for presentation at the 2006 International Conference on the Arts in Society in Edinburgh, Scotland; and is currently working on the IABC Accreditation Council’s Examination Development Task Force to develop new accreditation examinations for the international program.

Denise Pearson Dengler ’85 and husband Dennis, Fogelsville, daughter Danielle Rebecca born May 16. She joins brothers Derek, 7 and Darren, 5 and sister Dayna, 2.
