Crider ’81, Shippensburg, a 25-year veteran of the Pennsylvania State Police, was promoted to captain and named director, Patrol Services Division in the Bureau of Patrol at Penna. State Police Department Headquarters in Harrisburg. His son is a sophomore at Ship. Brian T. Crum ’81, Frederick, Md., a detective in the Warrant Division, fished in state and local tournaments plus the RedMan Bass circuit, won trap shooting titles in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, and currently plays country music at local clubs. Micheal F. Gillelan ’82, Arendtsville, was promoted to lieutenant and named director of the Criminal Records and Identification Division in the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Records and Identification.
Bradley Hunter ’86 and wife Rebecca, Silver Spring, Md., son Declan born June 22. He joins brother Haakon. Creal Shomaker French ’87 and husband Richard, Leesburg, Va., son Holden Richard born October 23, 2006. He joins brother Brock Edward 10. Michael Barbella ’88 and wife Colleen, West Milford, N.J., son Nicholas Ryan born March 24. Christine Sheets Lay ’88, Boiling Springs, earned her doctorate in education leadership from Widener University in August. Traci Lower ’88-’96m, Gettysburg, will have her Civil War novel, Shades of Gray, released by Patriot Press in January under the pen name, Jessica James. Vicki Ness Clouser ’89 and husband Christian, Red Lion, daughter Laura Elizabeth born June 1. She joins brothers Hans 7 and Brock 5. Michele DiPietro Jaworowski ’89 and husband Kenneth ’91, New York, N.Y., son Troy born May 12. He joins sister Hope 4. Cheri Quinn-Rider ’89 and husband Gary, South Lyon, Mich., son Peyton James born May 12. He joins sisters Ashton 5 and Alaina 4. Ayleen Gontz Stellhorn ’89, Littlestown, was named conference coordinator for the 21st Annual Pennwriters Conference in May. Frank D. Telenko, Jr. ’89, Elizabethtown, graduated with honors from Penn State with a master’s degree in the teaching and curriculum school. Richard Wingerd ’89 and wife Kathryn, York, daughter Samantha Elizabeth born February 10. |
