Make a Difference Day has become an annual event sponsored by USA Weekend Magazine, and this year one of their honored projects was Phi Sigma Pi’s Florida disaster relief project. Almost 100 SU students collected food, clothing, and money for the victims of the series of hurricanes that ravaged Florida last year. This was the first time Phi Sigma Pi was part of Make a Difference Day. Pictured are several members who were involved in the project (from left): Kristen Condravy, Brooke Ross, Lisa Gifford, Ed Murren, and Jullie McCauley. The co-ed national honors fraternity has amended its bylaws to stipulate participating in this event every year.
