Oh that’s cold! Dean Holoviak takes one for the college as business students celebrated milestones in the College of Business history.

No anniversary celebration is complete without a party and the John L. Grove College of Business celebrated in style. On the formal side, alumni from the business program were invited to a celebratory dinner in late April. At the dinner they were treated to a recap of the program’s history and a glimpse of the exciting plans for the future.

Informally, a carnival-like atmosphere invaded campus as current students and faculty of the College of Business also celebrated the program’s accomplishments. One of the most popular stops was the dunking booth where even President Ruud took a hand in attempting to dunk Steve Holoviak, the college of business dean.

The end-of-semester events were part of the on-going recognition marking the occasion of 70 years teaching business, 35 years as a college of business, and 25 years of AACSB accreditation.
