August 29	SHIPPENSburger at Fuddruckers, Chambersburg Come see and taste the SHIPPENSburger at its unveiling. Participate in the SHIPPENSburger eating contest and the live radio broadcast. President Ruud will sample the first burger. Fuddruckers will release event details closer to the date.
September 5	Alumni Social at Market Cross Pub, Shippensburg Hosts: Bill Naugle ’81, Randy Taylor ’89, Steve Wise ‘97 Catch up with friends, while sampling some tasty hors d’oeuvres. Don’t forget about their great selection of specialty beers. Cash bar. $10 cover.

August 22	Jazz on the Potomac Concert Series Unwind to the sounds of smooth Jazz with musical artist Tyris while overlooking the Potomac River. A full selection of favorite summer foods prepared by the Lansdowne Resort culinary team available for purchase. Concert series is from 6 pm – 10:30 pm. No charge for the series.
September 21	Nationals vs. San Diego Baseball Game Catch a game at the NEW Nationals Stadium (not a bad seat in the place) with fellow SHIP alumni!  Game time: 1:35 pm. Tickets $18.50.
November 8	Newseum (The World’s Most Interactive Museum) Tour: 11 am. The Newseum offers an experience that blends five centuries of news history with up-to-the-second technology and hands-on exhibits (http://www.newseum.org/). Tickets $17/adults, $15.50/seniors, $11/youth ages 7-12.
Red Raider Tailgating
