Young women assigned to the second floor of McLean Hall in 1970 had no idea that more than three decades later they would be friends and seeing one another on a regular basis. That’s what happened to this group. The older photo was taken in 1982. According to Nancy Hamill the group started as couples, expanded to include children, and are now back to couples. They have gotten together every year since graduation and over the past five years, the “Girls” get together on their own. The recent photo was one such venture at St. Michael’s, Maryland.

Sue Hood Winey ‘74, Greta Smith Houtz ‘74, Cheri Stoner Fogarty ‘73, Nancy Hoffmaster Hamill ‘74, Amy Holler Fritzinger ‘74, Celia Smith Zeigler ‘73, and Jeannette Rendler Behel ‘73. Bill Hamill ‘74 and John Behel ‘72 are the only husbands who graduated from Ship.
