Set in modern day Africa and the United States, Temo Buliro ’91m presents seven short stories in her book Faceless Voices. This follows Walk to Recovery, a children’s book that received Honorable Mention at the 2001 Jomo Kenyatta Literature Prize awarded in the East Africa region. She has been published in leading East African newspapers and magazines on lifestyle topics. Her familiarity with East Africa is the result of running her own communications business through most of the 1990s in Nairobi, Kenya.
