Carol Ann Uhrik Jeuell 69, Arlington Heights, Ill., a reference librarian at Childrens Memorial Hospital pediatric department for Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, was awarded a board certification at the distinguished member level in the Academy of Health Information Professionals of the Medical Library Association.
70s Leslie Brant 71, York, was promoted to senior director of Mellon Financial Corporations private wealth management group in central Pennsylvania. Edward Buchanan IV 71, Chambersburg, cpa, and managing member of Smith Elliott Kearns & Company, llc, was selected to serve on PKF North American Networks Financial Institutions Committee for 2004. Craig Etchison 71M, Fort Ashby, W.Va., professor of English at Allegany College of Maryland, and founder and co-director of the Center for Nonviolent Alternatives, had his final two books of the World Weaver Trilogy, Valley of Death and The Castle by the Sea, released by iuniverse publishers. MG Carl McNair, Jr. 71, (Ret.) Alexandria, Va., SU General Alumni Association Board member, was one of thirteen new members inducted into the 2004 Army Aviation Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Army Aviation Association of America. Donald Grell 76-92M, Carlisle, executive director, House Local Government Committee, Pa. House of Representatives, began a second term on the Borough Council in Carlisle. Jacob Kaufman 77, Chambersburg, cpa, member of Smith Elliott Kearns & Company, llc, has been selected to serve on PKF North American Networks Business Valuation Committee for 2004.
