Project Linus, a program that helps needy children, received a handmade quilt from third graders at the Luhrs Elementary School. Berkley Laite, librarian and the area’s Project Linus coordinator, is pictured with the quilt. In 12 years, the project has donated more than 400,000 handmade blankets to children in hospitals, shelters, and hospices. For more information, call Berkley at 717-477-1473.
