Discounts on auto and home insurance

We’ve partnered with an auto and home insurer to provide graduates, faculty, and staff savings of up to 20 percent on their auto insurance and 10 percent on their home, condo, or renters insurance* through a group savings program, that can mean hundreds of dollars back in your pocket. Additionally, customers who have both auto and home policies through the insurer may receive an attractive added multi-policy discount.

In addition to discounts, the group savings program offers Shippensburg alumni, faculty, and staff:

Discounts on cellular service

SU alumni, faculty, staff, and current students are entitled to a 10 percent discount on any rate plan through our cellular service provider partner, plus discounts on the latest handsets. Some benefits available include:

• A special 30-day return policy on new activations

Alumni and friends travel program

Travel around the world with alumni and friends from the fourteen Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education universities. As a Ship graduate, you qualify for discounted rates on travel programs throughout the year (see page 46 for selected trips).

Since 1998, over 1,300 alumni and friends have traveled with the PA State System Alumni & Friends Travel Program.
