Flashes of humor were evident as the Right Reverend Nathan Baxter addressed about 400 graduates and their family and friends at winter commencement.
He told his audience each one of them has the ability to influence the world. “You have an opportunity to strengthen America with your personal life,” he told graduates.
The Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Central Pennsylvania, Baxter conducted the National Day of Prayer following September 11th when he was the dean of the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
The ceremony included the introduction of the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award recipients.
