The first American exhibition of “Birth of the Painted World: Jivya Mashe and the Warli Tradition of India” is right here in the Kauffman Gallery. In addition to Mashe’s paintings, the exhibit will include photographs of the Warli tribal way of life and art created as a result of a project by SU students involving K-12 students throughout Pennsylvania. Best known for his impressions on Saturday Night Live, actor/comedian Darrell Hammond brings his stand-up comedy and impressions to our campus. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center is a show stopper with Wynton Marsalis, one of the most accomplished jazz artists and composers of his generation.
